-
Brian Cline - Simcoe, Ontario(519) 426-8617 "I'm 17 and I've only been throwing for two months, but I'm very interested in meeting local throwers. I started throwing with a cheap knife I picked up at the flea market. Local knife throwers are welcome to drop me an email or call!"
-
Dennis Lindsay - Calgary, Alberta"Hey I'm looking for some local throwers to throw and learn with. I've got a small range with which to toss some steel in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Get in touch!"
-
RJ Bachner - Montreal, QuebecBrokenaxe Archery - www.shoppe.brokenaxe.ca "Hello. I'm a 38 year old archer and primitive weapons freak. I throw spikes cause they are free (nails) and atlatls and sling rocks and toss javelins. I've been a ballistic fool since I was old enough to shoot my Dad's guns."
-
Mike Pike - Alberta, Canada"I've been throwing since Nov. of 2003, but have been in love with knives since childhood. A good friend came over one day with his throwing knives and I have been hooked ever since. I've recently built an outside range for myself and friends to scare the neighbors. I can now try out the hawks I made and see how they work."
-
Sten Fox - Alberta"Hello! I've been throwing for a few month's now. I like heavier knives and can throw anywhere from 4-12 feet using 1 spin, or no spin. Always up for meeting local throwers, and learning a thing or two. I'm joining the military in the Fall and hoping my knives will have some application there."
-
Bry Loyst (aka 'Snakes') - OntarioIndian River Reptile Zoo "I'm an IKTHOF Member and have been throwing knives since I was a little kid, but didn’t know what I was doing until I met Joe Darrah in Austin, TX at a knife throwing competition in 2005. I collect all sorts of knives, most of which are throwers (which I also sell). I also want to meet new throwers so if you live in Ontario, send me an email!"
-
Marc See - Edmonton, Alberta"I'm an international student from Singapore. I started knives about 5 months ago (August 2005). The knives I throw are 7 1/4" or 6 1/2" long and are very light compared to most thrower's knives. I'm still a newbie and would like to meet local throwers in Edmonton! (if there is any) during a warm day."
-
Don Perryman - Lodgepole, Alberta"I'm from a small town called Lodgepole, (not South Dakota, but in Alberta, Canada). I love to throw knives and I'm looking for anyone, anywhere near me, that wants to get together sometime to throw knives and talk about techniques."
-
Jeff Toycen - Ottawa, Ontario"My name is Jeff Toycen and I've been throwing knives since about 1975. I'm a 'welder machinist shipbuilder' and have made a few knives (easier to buy them!) I'd like to get together with other throwers."
-
Tom and Dar Skinner - Peterborough, Ontario"Since we are renovating our house my knife has had alot of exercise inside "helping" take out the pine walls. Otherwise I have a mobile 4 x 5 foot board that I made stands for that I plan on using in Spring. Still a novice thrower, but moderate collector."
-
Eugene Raymo - Belleview/Peterborough, Ontario"I'm a relatively new thrower of knives and tomahawks. I have made my own throwing spikes and will try them when the snow disappears. I see a few people in the area, but wish we had more so we can have some events. I throw at dart boards with tiny knives, and I am better with a knife than I am with a dart!!!"
-
Daryl Duda - Lethbridge, Alberta"My weapon of choice is a knife on a rope, also known as a rope dart or sheng biao. Alternately, I can grab the dull knife end and use the rope as a whip, which uses alot of the same muscles and techniques as knife throwing. I've gotten damn good with especially small knives, many of which a great deal of people doubt have the ability to stick in a target based on their weight--but it's all about technique, baby. Keep throwing!" Any comments, ideas or quality pictures pertaining to throwing weapons or the content of this site are greatly appreciated!
