OK, the date has finally been selected for the 5th annual knife throwing extravaganza - the Chucker 2005. As in past years the event will be hosted by Carl & Marilyn Geddes in the beautiful Tierrasanta Area of San Diego, CA. It's our 5th year of fun! The only exclusive knife throwing tournament on the West Coast. There will be a few changes this year: The Differences: 1. This year there will be two classes, novice and expert. You can decide which class you want to compete in. However, the Chuckers will make the final decision as to what class you actually compete in. If you have won or placed high in a major tournament you will most likely compete in the expert class. 2. No "ninja tool" to throw, knives only. 3. There will be a $10.00 entry fee for the experts. Novices will not be required to pay an entry fee. The Chucker Tournament has always tried to encourage new and first time throwers. 4. Raffle tickets will be sold this year for $1.00 each. We have some great prize donations this year. 5. Blowgun and spear contest will cost $1.00 to enter. Winner of each contest wins a first place medal and half the entry fee. 6. This year we will have a "special guest scorekeeper" so I can participate in the throwing and blowgunning. The Same: 1. All the fun you can handle 2. Free adult beverages 3. Free drinks, water and soda 4. Free food 5. The location Here are the particulars: Date: Oct 22nd, 2005 Time: Practice at 9:00am, Novices go at 10:00am sharp, Experts go at 11:00am.
