Indoor Targets
from Chuck Fogarty
Indoor target in the 2nd bedroom of our apartment in Countryside, Illinois.
8 layers of cardboard, against 4 - 2X4 sheets of insulation taped together,
lined by magazines taped to the insulation boards.
Indoor targets in Stanley Luke Farm, an indoor horse jumping arena owned
by the Kennedy family in La Grange, Illinois. Burls mounted on 2 X 6's and
a sheet of plywood.
Here is a picture of Chucks latest 3 round garage target! Notice the
"wings" on each side of the target. They are 4 by 8 foot sheets
of plywood and they are to catch the 'right angle' bounces you get
from knives and hawks when they hit the edge of the target.
These wings are almost a necessity on an indoor target, according to
Chuck. They've saved his garage from a lot of damage, including broken
windows!
