1. "Here is a pic of the original thrower made by Cold Steel. It is called the TFT (True Flight Thrower). It is 3/16" thick, 10 3/4" in length and weighs about 8.5 ounces. It has an oxide coating on it to prevent glare and rust and comes to you VERY sharp!" 2. "Here is the same knife after Joe Darrah got a hold of it! Joe gave it more of a "drop point" or bowie style blade, and used a grinder to get rid of the "rounded" parts from the end of the handle so you can get a smoother release. Getting rid of the cord wrapping on the handle also made it a bit easier to let the knife "slide" out of your hand. He also removed the oxide coating and dulled the edge a bit so you can throw it by the blade without being sliced! Nice job Joe! Keep up the great work!"
