This is a game I came up with that's better for the small throwers. I use my Hibben 6" throwers. The bigger knives eat the target a lot quicker. The target is an old foam archery target. It's a type of "around the world" game but with a couple twists! You get three knives to throw in each turn. First you hit the 1. After you hit the 1 you aim for 2 and so on. All the way up to 16. The center bullseye is a "wild". If you hit that you can skip the number you are on. So if you are aiming at 6 and hit the wild then you are on 7. The next ring is the -1. Just as it sounds, If you hit this you go back a number. So if you are aiming at the 3 and you hit the -1, now you are going for 2. The third ring is a pass. If you hit the pass ring on your first or second throw you must pass the knives to the next thrower. If you hit it with your third knife consider yourself lucky! Its the next persons turn anyway. After the number 16 is hit--or whatever number you decide to play to--you must hit a final bullseye or "wild" and that ends the game! It can take a long time to finish. That final bullseye can really take a while when you keep hitting the -1 ring! But it grows on you! It's free, and there's no obligation. |
