"Stake and Lobster" I've never seen anyone who throws like my husband does. He has a homemade target that stands 8 feet by 4 feet! There are 2' by 2' blocks made from 2" by 6" planks that you can turn into the frame so it doesn’t wear out so fast. There is also the pendulum that folds up out of the way. What does he throw? Tent stakes! He throws everyday and when his friends come by they play a game that they’ve made up called, 'Stake and Lobster'. HOW TO PLAY 'STAKE & LOBSTER' They choose a spot to throw at and throw their stake to see who goes first, closest to 'the spot' wins. Whoever wins becomes 'the staker' and he chooses a spot on the target, anywhere he chooses, taking into consideration the other players weakness' and strong areas. The next person has to come within a stake's length from where his stake is. If they do, they become 'the staker'. If they come within half the stake they become 'the staker' and get 5 points. If no one makes it through your rotation of players then the staker gets 5 points and throws again. First to 100 wins! Game Contributed By: Roberta Welch It's free, and there's no obligation. |
