In Poland Today I have made a more professional target and this is a picture of it. The trunks are from a deciduous tree. I don't know the name of this tree in english but this wood is used for wood sculpturing. It is realy soft and the knives stick great!! The target is very stable. (it's possible to sit on the top ;-) ) Thanks to that and soft wood, there are very few "bounce outs" but it is very heavy and uncomfortable to move. There is a lot of free space around it so it's also safe. But what I really like is that it took me less than two hours to build it (thanks to the tips from the "Throwzini" website)! Though it was difficult to find appropriate trunks and I looked for them for a long time. I'm thinking about a few improvements ie. adding garden wheels and little trunks in free spaces but I'm not sure yet. There is also a picture of my throwers. They look like a Cold Steal TFT but they are not!! They're called "Trener" in Poland (Where I live and throw by the way). These knifes were modified by me a little and now they are almost perfect ;-) If you have any pictures you'd like to share, you can send them to: Scott Gracia It's free, and there's no obligation. |
