Throwing spikes can be a cheap and easy way to have a great time throwing. They are also much more forgiving on your targets than knives or axes. Interested in making some of your own? Then just keep on reading! Throwing spikes have got to be the easiest thrower to make. They are also one of the cheapest. (That's what got me interested in them.) Tell me one other thrower you can buy in a hardware store for less than fifty cents! 
Homemade Spikes From Ohio These are some awesome 4-6" spikes with plastic handles, that are made from discarded material. Thanks for the submission Tony! 
Spike #1 Here's another submission from one of our readers! These throwing spikes were bought in Okinawa. 
Home Made Spikes These throwing spikes are made from large, galvanized nails that were bought at Home Depot. 
My Spikes Another interesting example of a throwing spike. The blades are very sharp so these are pretty much only thrown from the handle.
